"The Fugitive" plays tonight at Movies in Churchill Park

Peasants' Plot has been part of the Wicker Park Farmers Market since 2007, the year that Julia and Todd McDonald got married; bought twenty farming acres from a family trust in Manteno, IL; found a trailer on the side of the road; moved it and themselves to the farm; and put in a septic tank.

Green Music Fest is rooted in green initiatives

The 2nd Annual Green Music Fest is about to be a reality on June 26 & 27 on Chicago Ave. between Ashland and Noble from noon to 10 p.m. each day. The Green Family Fun Fest is between noon and 5 p.m. each day. Local retailers, art and craft vendors, plus a green vendor village will add to the music and beer venues.
